123rd Rizal Martyrdom Commemoration: “RIZAL: Modelo ng Pilipino sa Ika-Dalawamput Isang Siglo” Event Proper – December 30, 2019
As our event has come to a close, let’s recollect the happenings earlier today during our Dr. Jose Rizal’s martyrdom commemoration starting in Fort Santiago in Intramuros going to Rizal Park in Manila.
Our program started in Rizal’s prison cell in Fort Santiago, Intramuros as we retraced Rizal’s last footsteps going to Bagumbayan (now Rizal Park) before being executed by way of firing squad.
Below, we see our fellow knights and other guests as we start in our program.
The entire journey from Fort Santiago going to Rizal Park covers approximately 1 kilometer.
Below, we see our fellow knights walking towards Rizal Park at dawn
Upon arriving at Rizal Park, fellow knights together with the other groups waited for the start of the flag raising and wreath laying ceremony at the Rizal Monument.
